Directors Corner: April / 2010

Hello to all the Adirondack HOG Members,

Another excellent turnout at our regular meeting, 41 members again this month and our members list have grown to 127. We are ahead of last year's numbers from the same point in the season and it is still not official riding season yet where we usually add another 20 or 30 members. Once again we must be doing something right.

The annual Chili Cook-off was a huge success again. Thank you to Nora, Diane, all the volunteers, all the Chapter members, other area Chapter members, and even a few non-motorcyclists that showed their support. We have almost outgrown the Saratoga Brewing Company, which is not a bad thing.

The Chapter riding season will kick off following the next regular meeting, April 18th, with our first scheduled ride. I am betting that Mother Nature will take care of us and have a nice spring day. Following that we have a lot of great rides and activities taking place over the next several months. Be sure to keep up with the calendar on our website. Stay tuned for further plans of a member's BBQ on August 1st.

I again extend thanks to all our great Officers and Members for making this Chapter what it is. Let’s keep growing and getting better.
