

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY -- Ronald J. Diehl of Sandhill Road, Greenfield Center, NY, died suddenly Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at the Saratoga Hospital. He was 60.
Born on September 24, 1949, in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was the son of the late Mansel Diehl and Lea Maille Diehl.
Mr. Diehl worked almost 30 years for the R. M. Dalrymple Company in Saratoga Springs. Prior to that, he worked at Natale's in Saratoga Springs, NY
Ronald was a member of the Adirondack Harley Owners Group (HOG) and Retreads. He loved to work on and rebuild motorcycles and vintage muscle cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was also an avid bowler and talented mechanic/body shop man.
Survivors, including his mother, are his loving wife of 20 years, Elaine Fiacchi Diehl of Greenfield; a son, Matthew O. Diehl and his wife, Debora, of Saratoga Springs, NY; a daughter, Veronica L. Collins and her husband, Sean, of Lake Luzerne, NY; two stepsons, Donald Humphrey and his wife, Maryann, of Fultonville, NY and Paul Humphrey of Herkimer, NY; a stepdaughter, Judith Barker and her husband, Sean, of Fort Plain, NY; a brother, Edward Diehl and his wife, Dolores, of Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters: Barbara Seeley and her husband, Charlie, of Glens Falls, NY, Sharon Cockerham and her husband, Jim, of West Virginia, and Kathy Orton and her husband, Mark, of Virginia; three grandchildren: Steven Diehl, Jonathan and Caitlin Lambrecht and three step grandchildren: Matthew, Devin, and Leann Humphrey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, with funeral services immediately following at 5 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Carole Miller officiating, at the Tunison Funeral Home, 105 Lake Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
Burial will be in the spring at the Fort Plain Cemetery, Fort Plain, NY |
