Adirondack Harley Owners Group H.O.G. ® No Matter What We Still
Ride Located in the Majestic
Lake George Region of Adirondack HOG Is
Now On Facebook
Hello Adirondack HOG Members! I hope everyone is enjoying some of this great weather. I’ve managed about 1500 miles so far. Nadine and her Posse have led some great rides so far with many more to come. Americade is less than a week away, as I write this. We have many chapter members signed up to help with the Pin Stop at the HOG tent. It is a great way to meet fellow members from around the country. HOG’s for H.O.G. came off without a hitch. We had 109 registered participants. Thanks to Charlie Agnew for a great job as committee head with lots of new ideas. All of Charlie’s committee members did a great job splitting up the work. It was great for me to sit back and watch everyone “do their thing”. I heard nothing but great comments about the event. Diane Agnew did a great job on the photos. Nadine & company mapped out a very scenic ride. Thanks also to Bill & Nancy Novotny for breakfast and for organizing all of our volunteers. Thanks to Diane & Jeff Lawrence for all the behind the scenes work. (Pins, t-shirts, forms, etc.) When you stop at McDermott’s’ HD, be sure to say thanks to the Family and Crew. Last, but not least, thanks again to Rick Whitmore Catering for the great food. I have invited Janelle Clark, St. Joseph’s House of Grace Executive Director to our June 21 Chapter meeting for our presentation. It would be a great time to update our Chapter Photo, so come 1, come all! The LOH Fathers’ Day Basket (wheelbarrow) appears to be doing very well. Get your tickets soon; Father’s Day is not far off. I have an update for everyone about my transfer. Machinery started leaving my current jobsite last week. It appears that I will start commuting about July 1. I should be home most weekends until Dec.31. I hope to keep doing my director’s duties until then. Donna will remain here until late fall. Everyone at my work hoped for a change of heart by our corporate people, but the huge empty spots in our shop brought us back to reality. Well, back to happy stuff! Art Persons, Director
